Intro
Well, what do we have here? 211-186 score in the All-Star Game. Guess who’s 211? You don’t even have to guess… This game was in the bag before tip-off. Why? In fact, shouldn’t the West have won?
Nuh-uh.
All-Star Game & Events
GAME
Let’s think about this for a moment.
This is the roster of the West. A few young stars, but mostly old people. Come on. LeBron, Durant, Steph, Kawhi? All of these guys are over 30. These are just the people that come off the top of my head.
What the hell is this? There is NO ONE over 30. Not ONE guy! What does this mean? More ENERGY. The Warriors don’t have this… Maybe that’s why they’re dying…
Here are the statistics of the game!
Let’s look at each one.
Field Goals:
The East had 3 more attempted & 3 more made, which also means the East had a better percentage than the West.
3-Pointers:
This was the story of the game… 25 3-pointers were made by the West, but 42 were made by the East! For the East, the number of points their 3-pointers accounted for? 126. Yes. 126!
Free Throws:
1 free throw was made by the West, but the East showed no improvement. I mean, they’re all stars. They don’t… Well actually?
That was a clear double dribble so… I don’t know…
Rebounds & Assists
The East was once again dominating in this. The West just couldn’t touch the ball.
On the other hand, the West finally won in some category. They had 14 more assists than the East. Woah. But, it wasn’t just in this category.
Blocks, Steals, Turnovers, Points in the paint
All of this was led by the West. They had one more block and 2 more steals. And, they had 26 MORE points in the paint. That’s because the East got 126 points off of 3’s, but let the West celebrate a little bit here.
Oh, and before I forget, turnovers. The East had 14 and the West had 11 which means the West won in that category, but here is why. I watched the game, but if you didn’t here’s what you should tell your friends.
The East is younger. Has less experience, and that’s why they turned the ball over. The West. They know how to play and they still lost!
Personal Fouls
The West had 2. The East had 1. That explains why there were so few free throws.
All-Star Game MVP
It was Damian Lillard, although many argue it should’ve been Tyrese Haliburton. He was the hometown hero after all (ASG happening in Indianapolis), but no. In fact, Haliburton had 15 points in about 5 min! 5 min and 5 3-pointers for Haliburton. He finished with 32 points. Lillard finished with 39.
If you ask me who deserved it?
Lillard.
If the NBA was scripted, it would be Haliburton. I mean… He plays for Indiana. The game is in Indiana. The Pacers haven’t had much success yet, but Haliburton has solved all of that! He even had 10 3-pointers made!
But why does Lillard deserve it? He played like an MVP. Okay. You got 39 pts. So what? He also had 3 rebounds and 6 assists. 6! Almost a double-double! Oh and. He had 11 threes.

How?:
Steph vs Sabrina
The battle of the sexes. Steph’s too good to compete in the NBA 3-point contest, and so is Sabrina. So, what about putting them as a separate event? That would be amazing, right!?
Even though Sabrina shot with WNBA basketballs & shot from the NBA 3-point line, Steph won.

Dunk Contest:
The four participants: Mac McClung (G League), Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Miami Heat), Jaylen Brown (Boston Celtics), and Jacob Toppin (New York Knicks).
Mac McClung won. Yes. The G leaguer. He beat Jaylen Brown in the final round.

SPORTS QUOTE
“The hardest skill to acquire in this sport is the one where you compete all out, give it all you have, and you are still getting beat no matter what you do. When you have the killer instinct to fight through that, it is very special.” —Eddie Reese
No Smayan, It's the ASG (all-star game). No one actually tried, so that they wouldn't feel tired or get injured (like Paul George). The ASG is just a lazy game of pick-up ball, and whoever makes more threes win.
Scrap this event. Why?
1. KAT had the dumbest 50 points in history
2. It's an extension of the dunk and 3PT contest
3. So noncompetitive and boring because players don't try. It used to be so fun back in 70s-90s.
4. It bored me after 5 minutes
5. The crowd even lost interest
6. Player introductions were trash
