THE PICKS!
Ravens vs Titans
The titans just haven’t looked good, all year long, but you know what? The ravens haven’t either (to me). Obviously, I believe in the ravens to win this one, but this matchup will be boring.
Pick: Ravens
Panthers vs Dolphins
Okay, so. Another boring one. The Panthers (0-5 btw), are set to face the 4–1 Dolphins who scored the second most points in NFL history against the Broncos. Their only loss comes from the Bills who are a contending team, so easy win for the Dolphins.
Pick: Dolphins
Saints vs Texans
CJ Stroud is yet to throw a pick, meanwhile, the other Texas QB, Dak Prescott, threw 3 INTS in one game. Oof. I haven’t been much of a Texans believer this season, even though Derek Carr is doing really well! They have Alvin Kamara back as well. I believe here in the upset. I’m taking the Texans for the FIRST time this season. (I’m not counting the obvious.)
Pick: Texans
Commanders vs Falcons
Commanders are selling. Very much. So are the Falcons. I feel like this game is interesting to watch because both of them don’t look to have a franchise QB. Other than that, I have no clue what to write. I’m giving the Falcons the win only because the Commanders are on a pretty bad losing streak (and you just cannot lose to the Bears, lol)
Pick: Falcons
Colts vs Jaguars
MINSHEW MANIA! Yes, I’m going with the Colts on this one. Gardner Minshew has been doing super well on the Colts (and isn’t selling like he was on the Eagles). Argue all you want, that the Jaguars are coming off 2 straight wins, but I just feel like the Colts are going to upset the Jaguars. Also, I think the defense is going to come in handy. Especially the sacks. The Jaguars only have 9, while the Colts have 15, which ranks 27th and 12th.
Pick: Colts.
Seahawks vs Bengals
This could be either a really close matchup or a very easy matchup. Either way, it goes in the Bengals favor. They are finally picking up speed in their tightly packed AFC North division and now face a team that barely made the playoffs last year. The Bengals have the second-worst offense, while the Seahawks are right in the middle of the pack. Also, the Seahawks are coming off a bye week which means that they could lose a lot of production, which is something that they probably need against a Bengals team that’s just getting hotter by the second.
Pick: Bengals
Vikings vs Bears
Credit to the Bears for winning the last game against the Commanders by 20 points, and also credit for winning again versus the short-handed Vikings team. They’re short-handed because they don’t have Justin Jefferson (IR)
Pick: Bears
49ers vs Browns
The Browns don’t have Deshaun Watson, and that really isn’t going to matter. What matters is that the browns have the best defense in the league. Will Brock Purdy finally meet his match? I say no. He has great wide receivers all around him and one of the best running backs in the in Christian McCaffrey.
Pick: 49ers
Patriots vs Raiders
There is nothing much to write about this. Easy win for the Raiders who are also picking up steam. If Bill Belichick wasn’t already on the hot seat, he is now.
Pick: Raiders
Lions vs Buccaneers
The Lions are the quiet Super Bowl contenders. They now head to Tampa and then to Baltimore on a two-game road trip. The Lions have the 6th most passing yards in the NFL. They have the 7th best defense in the NFL. They also sit at 4-1. That’s crazy. They deserve to be one of the undefeated teams, but then, every team deserves to be undefeated, (other than the bad ones.) Baker Mayfield started off really good but then started selling. Lions, welcome to the 5-win club.
Pick: Lions
Cardinals vs Rams
Joshua Dobbs should not be blamed for what he’s doing. I mean, this is more than anyone expected from him. The Cardinals should continue to lose while making sure the NFL doesn’t suspect them for throwing games, just so that they can get the first pick and get USC’s, Caleb Williams. Puka Nacua, you’re just amazing. Cooper Kupp stole the WR show against the eagles, but you’re actually just really good. Continue that effort and you will become one of the best receivers in the league. The rams have a great WR duo, (better than the KC Chiefs.)
Pick: Rams
Eagles vs Jets
No A-Rod helping you win games and make it to the playoffs. No FUN prime-time games. The Jets have one of the hardest schedules in the NFL, and that continues. Now, if the Jets had an easier schedule, especially with the team they have (not including Aaron Rodgers), they probably could’ve easily made the playoffs. Robert Saleh believes in Zach Wilson, and I do too. But the Eagles are just really good and without Aaron Rodgers, this game is going to stink.
Pick: Eagles
Giants vs Bills
Giants suck. Sorry Giants fans, but it’s true. Your team sucks. Defensively, your team has 5 SACKS! 5! In total, you only have 1276 YARDS FOR YOUR OFFENSE. That’s 1290 less than the top team (Miami Dolphins.) Unfortunately, this is not the kind of game the NFL expected (just like the one above). The bills get the easy win.
Pick: Bills
