NFL Grades for the Most Interesting Games of Week 7!
It took nearly a month, but Bill Belichick finally earned his 300th career regular-season win. The Patriots coach picked up his 299th win back on Sept. 24 and after watching his team lose three straight games, Belichick got his 300th win on Sunday in shocking fashion with a 29-25 upset win over the Bills. The 70-year-old is now the third coach in NFL history to reach the 300-win mark, joining Don Shula and George Halas.
The only thing more shocking than New England's win was the way Detroit lost. The Lions' game against the Ravens was supposed to be a showdown between two of the top teams in the NFL, but instead, it turned into a beatdown with the Ravens winning 38-6. Anyways!
Cleveland 39-38 over Indianapolis
Browns
Myles Garrett almost single-handedly carried the Browns to a win in this game. Although the Browns defense struggled at times, that doesn't apply to Garrett, who had two strip-sacks and a blocked field goal in the first half alone. The two forced fumbles by Garrett led to two touchdowns for the Browns. Offensively, the Browns weren't great, but P.J. Walker did do just enough to help Cleveland win the game. Walker, who was playing for an injured Deshaun Watson, threw for 57 yards on Cleveland's game-winning drive that was capped by a Kareem Hunt TD with just 15 seconds left. The win is definitely a positive thing for Cleveland, but the Browns still have a lot of questions to answer at quarterback.
B Browns
Colts
The Colts got the full Gardner Minshew experience on Sunday. The good part of that experience: Minshew threw for 305 yards while also totaling four touchdowns. The bad part of that experience: Minshew turned the ball over FOUR times, including a second-quarter fumble that Cleveland returned for a TD and a fourth-quarter lost fumble that clinched the loss for Indy. The Colts did get some huge performances from Jonathan Taylor (120 total yards) and Josh Downs (five catches for 125 yards), but it wasn't enough to overcome the team's multiple mistakes. Although the Colts lost, it does feel like this team is good enough to compete for a division title, especially after dropping 38 points on the vaunted Browns defense.

Standings Completely Shaken Up. Pakistan Falling. Australia On the Rise.
The World Cup is crazy.
It’s like we see here in the MLB playoffs, where all three 100-win teams fail to make it past the divisional round.
Last time I talked about cricket, I told you that Australia is a great team, but is rock bottom of the league. England was in the middle. Well, now that’s changed.
India
New Zealand
South Africa
Australia
Pakistan
Afghanistan
Bangladesh
Netherlands
Sri Lanka
England
Why did I bold England and Australia? The answer is right above.
Last Tuesday, the Netherlands had a HUGE upset against one of the best teams, South Africa, where they won by 38 runs. That was their first win. The Netherlands isn’t supposed to have a great cricket team. They’re like the minors in baseball not in the major leagues with, you know, Australia, England, India, and so on. In fact, they beat out a great team, the West Indies, to secure their place here in the World Cup.
On Friday, Australia won a HUGE game against Pakistan. It was so significant because, like I said before, it helped them cement their place. They also won on Monday against Sri Lanka. These teams aren’t that difficult, so it was good that they won or else, just like England, their World Cup dreams would have been over.
England… The defending World Champions. Lost by 229 RUNS. Imagine losing by 229 runs in baseball! That’s how it feels in cricket. Just like that, England falls to 1-3. I have nothing else to say about this team other than how I feel disappointed in them.
Diamondbacks Stay Alive, Push NLCS to Game 7! || RANGERS WIN THE ALCS AND IS MOVING ON!
The D-Backs are RINGING THE BELL! The serpents are coming out and are slithering towards the Phanatic Bird to kill it. On the way, they’re also inching close to our ALCS champion, the Rangers, who KILLED the Astros in game 7 11-4. The Astros had the leverage as they had a home-field advantage, but that proved bad for them as they only could win away games in Arlington during the series.
Also, the next game of Phillies vs Diamondbacks will be tomorrow at 8:07 P.M. EST or 5:07 P.M. PST. This is a winner-take-all and the first game 7 in the Phillies 141-year history!
HOW!!!!!! 49ers lose! Vikings Win?
The 49ers… lost … again. This certainly proves that Brock Purdy is only a system quarterback. He didn’t have as bad a game as last week, but still went 21-30, 272 yards, 1 TD, and 2 interceptions. Christian McCaffrey also played and had 15 carries for 45 yards with 1 touchdown. Unfortunately for 49ers fans… this team is falling apart. They need their stars or more importantly… Brock Purdy needs his stars…
P.S. (The NFL referees are actually so bad…)
Conclusion!
So, umm, that concludes a wild weekend and Monday here in the sports world. Please share this mailing list with all of your friends and see you tomorrow!
