Listen, I get what you’re saying. But who cares about an injury. I care about watching a classic game. Good points. Believe me, it’s not the best idea. But not a stupid one.

England and France showed today why FIFA still has this. For the money, but for the fun.

What a great game. 6-4. We got to see Mbappe vs. Bellingham before they both return to Madrid.

And if you still dislike it? Why do we have international friendlies. That causes injuries. I enjoy INT. Friendlies, but if you’re making the injury argument, then what do you think about normal, but useless friendlies?

Completely fair argument, but the fact that this game was 6-4 completely proved my point. You will never be able to see this level of competitiveness from both sides if this were a normal knockout or group stage game. England would not have been up 4-0 in the first half of this were a normal knockout/group stage game. But, you are making some very fair points that I definitely agree with such as the injuries one. In fact, I would put this 3rd place game at the same level as a normal

international friendly, but not at the level of a world cup game.
