After 18 season with the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw is planning to retire at the end of the season.
Clayton’s won 3 Cy Young awards, 1 MVP, and 2 World Series titles. He achieved 222 wins, pitched more than 2,800 innings, recorded over 3,000 strikeouts, and a career 2.54 ERA.
His final regular season start will be Friday. He’s been thinking about retirement for the last 4 seasons now, but he decided to finally call it quits.
He’s been dealing with injuries the last 4 seasons, but still continued to play. He is 10-2 in 20 starts with a 3.53 ERA this season.
