Well, there we go, the actual edition #200.
Still have a few questions to go through, so let’s get through that, and then I’m going to make a few announcements as we head into the next century.
I love this question, as it just brings out the sports fan in me.
If the 49ers don’t win the Super Bowl with Kyle Shanahan, the blame is going to be on John Lynch and the 49ers. The one thing I really hate about the 49ers is that they’re trying to be the Dodgers. They go after these veterans who they think they can develop, but they can’t. The 49ers don’t have that kind of developmental system. This is screwing them completely.
Kyle Shanahan is certainly not the youngest coach, but he’s pretty young, and his job with the 49ers was his first HC job. He hasn’t had the best of situations, but he got close to winning the Super Bowl 2 times, and they lost because of his decisions.
I know this from experience. Bay Area fans will hate it if they don’t win the Super Bowl in another 5 years. They even do it to losing teams. This team has a lot of potential and a great squad (aside from those veterans). You have one of the best runningbacks in the NFL, one of the best defenses in the NFL, and some of the best receivers in the game.
Another problem with this 49ers team is that they’re going to need to pay their stars soon. Brock Purdy’s value will increase big time if he puts up one more amazing season. Don’t forget about Christian McCaffrey and Rickey Pearsall.
Kyle Shanahan will get fired, if the 49ers don’t win the Super Bowl in another 4 years.
So, if the 49ers don’t have anything to show for their cap situation, it’s going to be bad. They’ll have to do a rebuild because they’ll lose so many key pieces. Long or short depends on the amount of people they retain, but I think it’ll be a short one. Coach? Mike Vrabel.
No.
Kyle Shanahan has made some bad decisions this year (not as bad as Eberflus on Thursday), but… injuries.
This season has been pretty bad for the 49ers, but it isn’t Shanahan’s fault. The wide receiver core hasn’t stayed healthy, and neither has CMC, who was diagnosed with Achilles tendonitis. Don’t even get me started on the defense, which is in tatters.
Most of these trades have turned out super good for each team. The number one guy is Deandre Hopkins, who’s been an ultimate game-changer for the Chiefs already. Now, the close-game situation has yet to be solved for the Chiefs, but he’s making this team a whole lot better. He already has almost double the amount of yards he had for the Titans this year and has triple the TDs. A huge reason the Chiefs are winning.
Diontae Johnson, was the worst trade statistically because he’s played 3 games for the Ravens, only recording one catch for 6 yards. His 357 yards on the Panthers is 59.5 more than his Ravens yards. This doesn’t really matter for the Ravens, because they already have good WRs and depth at this position, so it really isn’t a necessity.
Another great one was Za’Darius Smith, whose tackles vs the Bears propelled the team to the win on Thursday. Great trade for the Lions.
So, while we didn’t see many superstar players get traded, the role players that did are benefiting their team big-time.
Anonymous on X: How possible is Santander to the Dodgers?
As I’ve mentioned in many of my LWOS Excerpts, getting an outfielder is key for the Dodgers. This could be either Teoscar Hernandez, Juan Soto, or somebody else on the market.
But, Santander isn’t really quality for this team. Take a look at his baseball savant rankings.
Now, moves like this have been seen before and if they miss out on Teoscar and Soto, then Santander will be the best option.
After crunching the numbers, there is about a 52.8% chance that the Dodgers sign Anthony Santander.
PREDICTION FOR SANTANDER IF HE COME TO LAD: With the amazing Dodgers development, the Dodgers will revive Santander and make him big time, just like they do with every guy that comes to town.
Anonymous on X: Any hopes for Australia heading into Test #2?
India vs Australia. The Border-Gavaskar trophy. What a scene.
Yes, there are lots of hopes for Australia heading into test match #2. The match is being played in Adelaide and it’s a pink-ball test. Australia has never lost a pink ball test, and beat India at the same place during the 2020-21 tour. This was the time when India was knocked out for 36 runs.
The only “problem” history-wise would be that Australia hasn’t recovered from a 1-0 deficit to win a test series since the 1997 Ashes tour.
Australia’s Pink-Ball Tests in Adelaide RESULTS
2015: Three-wicket win vs New Zealand
2016: Seven-wicket win vs South Africa
2017: 120-run win vs England
2019: Innings and 48-run win vs Pakistan
2020: Eight-wicket win vs India
2021: 275-run win vs England
2022: 419-run win vs West Indies
Australian batting average in pink-ball Tests
63.85: Marnus Labuschagne
49.36: Travis Head
40.00: Steve Smith
39.69: Usman Khawaja
35.14: Alex Carey
15.75: Mitchell Marsh
Things are looking up for the Aussies, but once the match starts, you never know what will happen. I’ll take Australia here. (P.S.: Huge Australia fan here).

It's official, Snell is going to the Dodgers. Maybe you'll regret saying that it was a bad move by the Dodgers.
